Continuing tuesday’s exercise, here’s another moviestill painting – one of my favourite scenes from In Bruges.
It’s not entirely on par with the last one, but I suppose I can’t complain. I wanted to include Brendan Gleeson’s coked-up mug aswell, but I spent enough time on just Colin already, so maybe I’ll add him another time. And I have half a mind to make one of Ralph Fiennes aswell, to round out the Bruges trio.

Thanks! Do you mean medium as in what I made it with? I use Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos4 tablet.
Yes! I thought it may have been painted in photoshop, but these days, you never know! 🙂
Ha well I’m not much of an… ‘analog’ painter I guess you’d call it? Or ‘oldschool’ maybe. I don’t use real paint is what I’m saying – I’ve become much too attached to my undo’s and my cuts n pastes 😉 although I suppose it’s a good thing when people wonder if your paintings are digital or analog.
But I see you’re quite the artist yourself! And in the same boat as me too (senior year of art school). Do you ever paint digitally like this or do you prefer to stick to canvas and such?
